    Dive deep into the history, theory, and spirit of the practice from the comfort of your home. Classes will be recorded.

  • Part 2: The Practice (In-Person)
    3 Days: Sept 29, 30 & Oct 1 in Toronto, ON | 9h30-16h30
    Immerse yourself in hands-on learning to master the physical techniques of this ceremony.

  • You can choose to enroll in both parts for the complete experience, or just the online portion to strengthen your theoretical knowledge.

  • Roots & History: The rich history of traditional Mexican medicine and the history of the baño postparto (postpartum bath / closing of th bones).

  • Sacred Archetypes: Learn about Tlazoteotl, Cihuateteo, and Coyolxauhqui and their significance.

  • Energetic Pillars: Explore the core elements that sustain this work: the medicine wheel, water, earth, fire, wind, plant energy, cacao, prayer, and song.

  • Cultural Integrity: How to adapt these rituals for North American/European contexts with respect, reciprocity, and integrity towards their Mexican origins.

During the 3 days in-person immersion you will learn:

  • Details of the Ceremony: A step-by-step deep dive into each element: the manteada, temazcal, herbal bath, rest, and cerrada.

  • Pro Tips & Secrets: Learn our insights for "re-enchanting" your relationship with this practice and making it work with your own skills and limitations.

  • Biomechanics & Self-Care: Protect your own body with techniques for sustainable practice.

  • Troubleshooting: Bring your challenging cases and questions for group discussion.
